“the universe took it’s time on you, crafted you precisely so you could offer the world something distinct from everyone else. so when you doubt how you were created, you doubt an energy greater than us both.” -rupi kaur
I do not LIVE without chocolate. It’s a bit of a necessity. Preferably Whittakers 70%, or the knock-of Guylian Sea Shells.
I was hit by a car as a child. Now I try to look both ways.
Birds freak me out.
My husband is the best, partially because he loves “The Notebook” just as much as I do!
“Foodie” is a bit of an understatement. You will never meet someone who craves food as deeply as I do. It’s a blessing and a curse, and cheese burgers are always top of the list.
Currently obsessed with “Pretty Little Liars.” Who the frick is A????
Hello, my name is Jordan and I am a New Zealand based photographer, on the hunt for the next magical moment. I was born and raised in Calgary, AB, Canada, and then moved to the U.S.A. to attend university, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. I know right…. nothing to do with photography. I soon realised that I had no interest in living my life cooped up in a lab, hovered over a petri dish and in a constant state of sterilisation. When I married my husband JP, we decided to move to a small island off the coast of Auckland, New Zealand, called Great Barrier Island. It was there I discovered a love for light, colour and movement. I began to pick up my camera as a way to escape the isolated island life, and I used my photos as a way to communicate with the world beyond our little island.
Currently, we are living in Tauranga, New Zealand and have absolutely fallen in love with Mt. Maunganui and the lifestyle it provides. While I am always feeling homesick, missing the company of my family and the Rocky Mountains, Jp and I are taking the opportunity to set down some roots in this sea side town. You can find us running up the mount, out in the surf, binge watching Gilmore Girls and constantly drinking coffee.
Meet the team! JP and I love to work together whenever we can, he carries the gear and I carry the coffee.
Jp is often filming behind my shoulder while I am photographing, but he can also step in as my first pick as a second shooter. Basically, he does it all.
